Sister Marie Benedict Elliott

With questions, ideas or to sign up, please contact youth@stphilipsparish.com

Sister Marie Benedict is our new Director of Youth Ministry. She grew up at St. Mark Parish in Vienna, VA, attended University of Virginia, and for the last ten years has lived in the Motherhouse of the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist in Meridan, CT, where she completed her preparation to become a fully professed religious sister.

During that time, Sister Marie Benedict also taught classes and conducted campus ministry at a nearby Catholic high school. For the coming years, Sister will be dividing her time between theological studies at Catholic University of America and the youth and their families of St. Philip Parish. Welcome to our parish, Sister Marie Benedict, we are so blessed to have you with us!
